Pastor Chuck actually works for Interim Pastors Ministry, a group that provides trained pastors to help churches work through the transition process of church re-examination and preparation. He has been with us since May 2010.
Pastor Chuck is a retired college professor, having a B.S. in developmental psychology and a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and an long history of teaching organizational leadership and ethics. He has taught in both secular and Christian universities, both in the U.S. and in Poland, Portugal and Thailand.
He has also served for four years as an avionics specialist in the U.S. Air Force and then another 24 as a Chaplain (Lt. Col.) in the Reserves. He has his M.Div. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Massachusetts.
During these years of teaching and chaplaincy, Pastor Chuck has had many interim pastorates, helping churches wrestle with what God wants of them in the future. He has also led seminars on "Christian Ethics in the AF," "Becoming One" (for married couples), and "Christian Parenting."
Pastor Chuck is here with his wife Becky. Becky has a B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation and has worked as an Activities Director for Nursing Homes, a Recreational Therapist in hospitals, and most recently in a halfway house for troubled teenagers.
